An Emmy Award Contributor Winner, Drama Desk Award Nominee, and Thea Award for Outstanding Achievement (Attraction) Winner, Matthew is a prop & puppet fabricator/designer and production coordinator. Coordinator of Global Themed Entertainment at Sesame Workshop and formerly with Walt Disney Imagineering on the Magic Kingdom Design Services team, Matthew is focused on bringing exciting stories to life and creating memorable experiences for guests and audiences. He was the Lead Puppet & Prop Builder and Puppet & Prop Coordinator for Disney Theatrical and Rockefeller Productions' Disney's Winnie the Pooh: The New Musical Stage Adaptation which played to rave reviews off-Broadway in NYC before embarking on a national tour. His prop and puppet work can also be seen in Little Shop of Horrors (off-Broadway 2019 revival), the national tour of Hamilton, Mrs. Doubtfire: The New Musical Comedy, Diana: A True Musical Story, To Kill a Mockingbird, Paddington Saves Christmas, on Comedy Central, and in countless regional productions, commercials, and live shows. Matthew has freelanced with Jim Henson's Creature Shop and has worked on Sesame Street projects, including the show's 50th season, social impact programming, photoshoots, and PortAventura World's "Sesame Street: Street Mission" dark ride theme park attraction, in addition to projects for the Coca Cola Company and Princess Cruise Line. Matthew works seasonally with on the Production Operations Team for Macy's Branded Entertainment, helping to put on events such as the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and the Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular. Matthew holds a high honors with distinction degree in mechanical engineering from Hofstra University, and studied technical design at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
